Arcadia Valley is located on the Trail of Tears.  This historic trail which stretches 5,043 miles across nine states is full of history and nature.

The trail commemorates the forced removal of Cherokee from their homelands.  Seventeen Cherokee detachments traveled westward along this trail.  Take in the scenery as you are able to visit the sacred sites that tell a story of suffering and intolerance, but more importantly a story of survival.
